About This Position

Description:

Summary

As a Production Planner & Purchasing Agent, you will serve as a critical link between operational

strategy and execution. Your primary focus will be to orchestrate the daily workflows for our specialized

Repurpose, Repair, and Re-Box teams, ensuring that production targets are met through meticulous

scheduling and clear communication.

Beyond scheduling, you will act as a performance analyst and strategic source. You will dive into output

data to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiencies while managing the end-to-end procurement of

MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) and non-inventory supplies. Your goal is to optimize both

the output of our teams and the value of our vendor partnerships, ensuring DMA Industries maintains a

lean, high-quality supply chain for these items.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Workflow Optimization

Strategic Scheduling: Design and implement weekly production schedules for the

Repurpose, Repair, and Re-Box departments to maintain optimal service levels and

balance inventory requirements with labor capacity.

Operational Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses of production output, labor

efficiencies, and material consumption to ensure alignment with organizational KPIs.

Supply Chain Integration: Partner with warehouse leadership to establish robust

replenishment protocols, ensuring a seamless flow of materials and the elimination of

downtime due to stockouts.

Procurement & Vendor Strategy

Supplier Consolidation: Strategically consolidate the non-inventory supplier base to

leverage DMA Industries & total purchasing volume and improve economies of scale.

Strategic Sourcing: Cultivate and manage a resilient network of high-quality vendors,

ensuring a continuous supply of MRO and non-inventory materials at the lowest total

cost of ownership.

Cost Management & Process Improvement: Analyze material usage patterns to

identify waste, streamline inefficiencies, and execute cost-saving initiatives that directly

impact the bottom line.

Other Duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

3-5 Years Scheduling, Planning and Procurement experience

Key Competencies:

Advanced Excel skills

Excellent math skills

Strong negotiation skills

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication skills

Other:

?Exempt Associates receive a salary which is intended to cover all hours worked including any

hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week. Your salary is intended to compensate you for

all hours you work for the Company. For exempt Associates, casual or required overtime

worked/working outside of normal business hours, is not compensable. When these extra

efforts are either infrequent or on an ongoing basis, it is expected that exempt Associates will

consider this extra time during week and/or weekend part of their professional

Associate/company relationship and extend their efforts without additional compensation

Incumbent work hours/schedule and/or shift are subject to change based on business needs

and Management discretion

Other duties may be assigned as business necessitates

Language Skills: Ability to read and write in English. Ability to effectively articulate and present

information and respond to questions from Management in a professional manner.
