Position Summary
The HR Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all aspects of the employee life cycle. This position serves as a point of contact for employees, managers, and external partners, assisting with a wide range of HR functions such as recruitment support, onboarding, personnel recordkeeping, compliance tracking, and employee relations. The HR Assistant will help maintain accurate data in HR systems, process personnel changes in a timely manner, and support special projects and initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience.
This role requires a detail-oriented and organized professional who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The HR Assistant will also have the opportunity to learn and grow within a collaborative HR team, gaining hands-on experience in the full spectrum of HR activities.

Key Responsibilities- Assist administratively with the day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties
- Administer employment life cycle processes utilizing HRIS, payroll, and Talent Management systems, including employee transfers, job classification changes, salary increases, and other employment matters
- Track and communicate employee birthdays and service anniversaries per established protocol
- Prepare and maintain personnel-related documentation and reports (staffing, uniforms, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.)
- Administer post-employment badging processes for government contract requirements
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Respond to employee requests regarding HR issues, rules, and regulations
- Support the handling of complaints, grievance procedures, and disciplinary actions
- Act as a back-up to Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Coordinator when necessary
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in HR or administrative role
Skills & Requirements
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Global and cultural awareness
- Basic knowledge of employment law
- Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Successful Pre-Employment Drug

- Full time onsite
