Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance
• Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or large areas when required
• Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential environments, ensuring all spaces meet health and safety standards
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues that require specialized attention
• Support custodial operations by restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
• Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning methods
• Ability to perform residential painting or minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance operations and porter responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
