JOB TITLE: PENDANT ASSEMBLER

Non-Exempt Position

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor / Plant Manager

DEPARTMENT: Assembly

BASIC FUNCTION:

Assemble pendants and power supplies as specified by customer orders and production work orders.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process customer orders in accordance to sales orders and work orders.

• Soldering wire connections and plugs.

• Deliver assembled products to production or shipping for order fulfillment.

• Responsible for producing acceptable work which meets or exceeds all Quality Control Standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.

• Exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member.

• Perform other duties as requested by company management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have high school diploma or acceptable equivalent.

• Good communication skills.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read and follow blueprints and wiring diagrams.

• Ability to operate manual and power hand tools.

• No previous experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Good manual dexterity; wiring in small, confined space.

• Ability to sit for 7+ hours per day.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.

• Demonstrate a positive and business-like attitude.

• Ability to work independently.

• Required to wear all OSHA mandated safety equipment and to adhere to all company safety practices and policies.

• Conduct all interactions with customers (internal and external), vendors, field sales representatives, co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous and respectful manner.

• Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish effectiveness of the company.
