Sales Support Assistant at Kings River Packing, LP – Sanger, California

This is a full-time on-site role at Kings River Packing, LP headquarters office in Sanger, CA.

Role Summary
Kings River Packing is looking to hire two Sales Support Assistants to collaborate with key members of our sales and marketing team. In this role, you’ll support various teams, allowing them to focus on the sales function of the company’s conventional and organic citrus products. Your responsibilities will vary and be time sensitive, ensuring efficient operations throughout the day and week. You must be able to professionally handle continually changing work requests.

What You'll Do
· Assist in order entry and other tasks around the marketing of both domestic and import citrus crops.
· Facilitate tasks around maintaining, servicing our sales agents & other team members with current customer relationships.
· Provide fruit samples and packaging samples/information.
· Collaborate with production and Supply/Demand teams to gather information and key details for the sales team.
· Respond quickly and accurately with information to support customer needs.
· Ability to strategize and execute assigned tasks and goals.
· Coordinate scheduling, handle various projects, deadlines and reports.
· Perform other work-related duties and projects as directed.
· Maintain constantly changing Customer Spec Sheets.

· High School diploma is required, bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.

· 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.

· Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

· Must possess strong and accurate typing and 10-key skills. Minimum speed of 50 WPM.

· Experience working with Famous Software highly preferred.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with peers and packing house teams.

· Must be dependable, punctual, self-motivated and able to take direction.

· Team-oriented, service-focused attitude.

Physical Demands & Abilities

· Ability to sit for extended periods of time, working from a computer, talking on the phone.

· Onsite work schedule Monday – Friday with flexibility as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

· $25.00 - $30.00/hour, based on experience
