Warehouse Lead at Pride Delivery and Installation – Columbus, Ohio

The Warehouse Lead handles a variety of functions to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse. Completes clerical tasks associated with product tracking and movement in accordance with processes and customer requirements. The Warehouse Lead is expected and required to understand the overall needs of the warehouse and its operation, both in systems and in product movement; working very closely with the management team to ensure daily success. Responsible for opening and closing the warehouse daily.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:
● Competent in employee management, systems and process management.
● Must have previous warehouse experience including supervision.
● Must be able to direct the work of others.
● Able to learn new systems quickly, must be able to use Microsoft Office applications. Various vendor software/customer software use is required.
● Must be willing to learn, ask questions, identify solutions to issues/problems.
● Must have good communication skills with the ability to communicate with customers, managers, and employees on all levels.
● Must be able to follow processes and procedures.
● Must have the ability to prioritize and be aware of things that need to be done.
● Must be adaptable and willing to change as situations arise and business needs dictate.
● Must have the ability to perform all tasks listed in the job description.
● Must be able to do heavy lifting
● Must be computer literate, have experience with using an RF scanner
● Must have an attention to detail.
● High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates preferred.
● Previous experience in delivery operations management, systems, or process management as demonstrated via formal education, work experience and /or combination of work and education.
● Must have inventory experience, experience with cycle counts, researching inventory
● 3+ inventory or warehousing experience required.
● 1+ years in customer service.
