Position Title: Electrical Superintendent

Location: Amarillo, Texas

Description:

A leading electrical contractor is looking to hire an experienced Electrical Superintendent to support a long-term commercial/industrial project in either the DFW area or Pampa, TX. This is a 2–3 year project, and the role is open to local candidates or traveling superintendents.

What Your Role Will Look Like
  • Lead all on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through project completion

  • Supervise and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and vendors

  • Develop and manage manpower plans, material forecasts, and daily production goals

  • Ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, project drawings, and safety standards

  • Partner with Project Managers to maintain schedule, budget, and quality expectations

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety policies

  • Track project progress, approve timecards, and assist with change order documentation

  • Coordinate with other trades and act as the primary electrical field leader on site

  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain productivity and timeline

What You Need
  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience in a Superintendent or senior field leadership role

  • Active Journeyman Electrician license (Master Electrician preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of NEC and commercial/industrial electrical systems

  • Experience managing large crews and multi-phase projects

  • Ability to manage manpower scheduling and material coordination

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to travel or relocate for the duration of a 2–3 year project

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening
