Warehouse Operations Assistant - 2nd Shift at Zausner Foods Corporation – Visalia, California

A Day in the Life | Responsibilities We Trust You With:

Assist with receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials.

Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and data entry into warehouse systems.

Pick, pack, and stage orders according to production or shipment needs.

Support documentation accuracy, including receiving logs, pick lists, and inventory adjustments.

Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or reach trucks (if certified).

Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse work areas in compliance with safety and food‑handling requirements.

Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged product, or safety hazards to supervision immediately.

Support shipping operations by preparing pallets, verifying counts, and assisting with truck loading when needed.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.

Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and operational needs.

What You Must Know | Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree preferred

At least 4 years of related work experience required

Computer software knowledge and experience

Advance knowledge with RF gun

Must have strong forklift operating experience, including prior experience operating in high drive-in and push back racking environments

Self-motivation and safety awareness.

Environment: Primarily in a warehouse setting, involving physical activity and movement throughout the facility.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds; sitting, standing and walking for extended periods.

Safety: Adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Schedule: May include shifts, weekends, and overtime to meet operational demands.

Climate: Exposure to varying temperatures depending on warehouse conditions.
