Fleet Service Writer at Truckway Leasing – Wilder, Kentucky

Position Summary

Truckway Leasing & Rental, an industry leader in tractor/trailer rental and leasing operations and a well-established regional provider of over-the-road equipment is in search of a Fleet Service Writer supporting our Service Manager in the daily operation of our Wilder KY service facility. Strong communication and time management skills are required. This individual must have some “shop administration” skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily workload of a technician workforce to achieve optimum utilization of Organizing and closing purchase orders.
• Daily Lot Check - Check and log all trucks on the lot.
• Procure vendor invoices
• Reviewing and closing work orders
• Tracking and receiving parts
• Stocking and re-stocking inventory items
• Reviewing and prioritizing driver write-ups for equipment requiring repair
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor
