Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse/CDL Truck Driver to provide excellent customer service by making prompt, courteous overnight/early morning deliveries and pick-ups for our branch locations. This role also assists with general warehouse duties as needed. The ideal candidate is safety focused, organized, and committed to representing our company professionally.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery

• Safely operate a company truck to deliver and pick up materials between branch locations.
• Maintain required CDL licensing and an acceptable driving record.
• Follow all federal, state, and local driving laws, as well as company safety rules and guidelines.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate mileage logs.
• Keep and submit hours-of-service logs as required.

Loading & Unloading

• Load and unload trucks as needed, with attention to delivery order and fragile materials.
• Use proper lifting techniques and appropriate equipment.

Warehouse Support

• Assist with warehouse tasks when not driving, including:
• Filling branch orders
• Checking in and putting away materials
• Performing cycle counts
• Keeping aisles clear and shelves organized
• General housekeeping
• Participate in year-end physical inventories at various branch locations as assigned.

Customer Service & Safety

• Maintain a friendly, cooperative, and courteous attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Work safely at all times and report hazardous conditions.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)—Class A.
• Acceptable driving record that meets company and insurance requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, and tractor trailers.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials of 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in warehouse environments with heat, cold, and seasonal conditions.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift, pallet jack, etc.
• Strong attention to detail for reading orders, matching numbers, and completing logs accurately.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.

• Regular standing, walking, reaching, and material handling.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Routine lifting of 10–25 lbs, frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable working at heights of 15–20 feet.
• Ability to read and identify numbers for accurate order filling and receiving.
• Sound reasoning and logical decision making skills.
