About This Position

The Operations Systems Consultant will support the Operations Systems team to improve the operational platform and execute Zaxby's strategic plan. This position will assist with the implementation of all strategic improvement projects that affect store level operations and training. This position is responsible for assisting in integration, improving, and implementation of Zaxby's strategic and non-strategic initiatives. Working closely with the Operational Innovation and Design teams, he/she will assist in determining how system improvements can be integrated into both new and old Zaxby's restaurants designs as well as non-traditional platforms. The consultant will participate in leading training, monitoring, and implementing the current Inventory & Labor program to franchisee groups and management teams; and evaluate and identify operational areas for improvement, communicate and understand program components and functionality.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA area and allows for a hybrid work schedule that includes 3 in-office days per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in aspects of the creation of new and changing procedures that impact the operational platform including field test
  • Identify process and procedures needing improvement, create solutions, and implement accordingly
  • Cross-functionally work with multiple Zaxby's departments to apply meaningful data to Zaxby's strategic initiatives during pilot testing and implementation
  • Consult and collaborate with vendor partners to improve Zaxby's operations throughout different phases of creation, maintenance and implementation
  • Provide input to help improve and maintain the LMS, Operations Manual, and other documents
  • Conduct, attend and/or participate in Zaxby's internal training and field training for tests and implementations
  • Assist in creating support tools and materials for new and existing concepts
  • Evaluate information received from the field or within the corporate structure and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate department
  • Spend time in multiple regions getting to know their infrastructure and how they execute systems
  • Learn all essential functions of the Inventory and Labor system and maintain a working knowledge of the system and its components; support training to competency the leadership/franchisees and managers for locations
  • Communicate best practices to franchisees and managers to facilitate easy usage and success of the program(s)
  • Communicate with multiple departments regarding the standard of the Inventory and Labor Program and its components, facilitate understanding of the program and its role in the Zaxby's brand

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Current knowledge of applicable state and federal workplace health and safety regulations
  • Ability to communicate and influence with an emphasis on communication and developing strong relationships

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Analytical skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related managerial experience and/or training; QSR/restaurant operations experience a plus

$68,000 - $84,000
