Support Staff at Lakes Region Mental Health Center – Laconia, New Hampshire
About This Position
Job Summary: The support staff provide support to the program staff through the process of completing various administrative duties and maintaining communication throughout the agency. Support staff are an imperative part of our Lakes Region Community Services team, as the face of our agency when clients come in the door, they uphold our mission, vision and values.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the timely check in of in person clients, collection of co-pays, confirmation of demographics, updating information as needed in the system.
- Provides clinicians with available clients as they are confirmed in the system, monitoring wait time and follow up as necessary.
- Responsible for the maintenance and update of clinician schedules including scheduling and rescheduling of appointments.
- Documents outreach to clients for all appointment needs.
- Responsible for the scheduling and documentation of case management appointments as required.
- Responsible for general correspondence to clients including 30-Day, Termination of Services, Individual Service Plans as required in an accurate timely manner.
- Responsible for the professional and timely answering of all phone lines, routing calls as requested or required.
- In the event of emergencies within the facility, the support staff are responsible for the timely, professional and accurate communication as directed.
- Responsible for the registration and coordination of the Child Impact Program.
- Responsible for the collection of paperwork from clients per request of the clinicians or providers.
- Support staff are responsible for the timely coordination and sorting of incoming mail and packages for disbursement.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of administrative work preferably in a non-profit setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Is able to sustain light physical effort such as frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, or reaching and/or occasional lifting of items 20 lbs. or more.
- Is able to tolerate periods of heavy workload or excessive stress.
