What youll do

Kplers Sales team is looking for a highly motivated Commercial Development Manager to drive pipeline generation and commercial development across France & Switzerland, supporting deal execution in coordination with Kplers contracting and legal entities
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a territory, ensuring timely and thorough responses to client requests while meeting or exceeding annual pipeline generation and territory growth targetsServe as a commercial partner for the business, supporting budgeting, multi-year planning, demand planning, reporting, and key metrics.
  • Gather insights on products and competitors directly from clients to inform strategy.
  • Keep the CRM up-to-date with accurate notes and updates, collaborating with the sales team to maintain achievable forecasts.
  • Support cross-functional teams and share expertise to drive organizational success.
  • Represent Kpler externally with professionalism and credibility.
  • Contribute to corporate projects and initiatives that impact the company as a whole.
  • Support commercial discussions including pricing and commercial terms, and coordinate contract negotiation and execution with Kplers authorized contracting entity and internal Legal team. The role does not include authority to bind the company or sign customer agreements
  • This role has no authority to sign or conclude contracts on behalf of Kpler and does not act as a legal representative of the company in Switzerland.
Essential Requirements
  • Experience in Account Executive/Sales roles
  • Experience working for technology/data vendors/in financial markets
  • 3 years experience in a commercial role
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in the maritime space
  • Experience in the commodities space
  • Experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, Sales Navigator
Skills & Competencies
  • Fluency in English & French
  • Experience in the commodities space beneficial
  • Knowledge of energy markets and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to thrive in unstructured, fast-paced, and dynamic environments.
  • A collaborative team player focused on long-term business and team success.
  • A proactive hunter mentality
