About This Position
Position Summary
SCS Interiors is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards before shipment.
You will work closely with Production and Quality leadership to support inspections, documentation accuracy, ISO compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities
Product Inspection & Compliance
- Perform concurrent production and final inspections of all products prior to shipment
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Pull non-conforming products and communicate corrective actions to Production leadership
- Ensure inspection data is accurately entered into JobBOSS2 (E2) ERP system
- Obtain and verify Certificates of Compliance and required shipment documentation
- Sign certifications prior to delivery
First Article & Documentation Control
- Inspect and measure First Article and First Piece items
- Develop ballooned drawings and AS9102 or PPAP documentation using Inspection Xpert
- Assemble and deliver complete First Article certification packages
- Require remakes for non-conforming items
Receiving & Materials Oversight
- Audit Receiving Records for accuracy and completeness
- Participate in Materials Review Board for rejected materials
- Assist with shelf-life audits of stock materials
Production Documentation & Calibration
- Audit production documentation and work orders weekly
- Review Production Maintenance Logs monthly
- Ensure calibration schedules for production tools are maintained
- Assist with review of new or revised drawings for dimensional or material changes
- Complete quarterly template verification checks
Quality Management System & ISO Support
- Participate in internal audits and ISO certification activities
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO standards
- Assist with supplier surveys
- Promote a culture of quality and safety across departments
- Support training initiatives related to quality procedures
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Prior experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Hands-on measuring and inspection experience
- Understanding of material traceability principles
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Proficient with computer systems and ERP software
- Ability to communicate effectively with production and leadership teams
- Professional demeanor and strong customer-service mindset
- Valid driver’s license
