Job Overview
Company: Able Construction Inc
Salary/Pay Rate: $1,500 per week plus up to $10,000 annual bonus.
Location: Travel Required (Jacksonville, FL).
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends, and Overtime.
Project Scope: Commercial General Construction.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.
The Opportunity You will serve as the primary on-site leader, overseeing the entire duration of commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role empowers you to foster a winning environment where collaboration and service-oriented leadership drive project success. You will have the autonomy to manage field operations while being supported by a team dedicated to professional excellence.
How You Will Make an Impact
Direct all on-site construction activities to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate daily tasks with subcontractors and internal teams to maintain a seamless workflow.
Utilize advanced project management technology to document progress and facilitate clear communication.
Foster a collaborative team environment rooted in the company motto of being Prepared to Serve.
Monitor site safety and quality standards to ensure every build meets rigorous industry specifications.
Manage real-time logistical challenges to prevent delays and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a Superintendent specifically within the commercial construction industry.
Absolute willingness to remain on-site at project locations for the full duration of the assignment.
Demonstrated proficiency using smartphones, tablets, and construction management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime as required by the project.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and professional communication.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field leadership or supervisory role.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
History of successfully managing large-scale commercial builds from ground-breaking to completion.
Compensation & Benefits
Weekly pay cycle with performance-based bonuses up to $10,000 per year.
$500 monthly auto allowance and $75 monthly phone allowance.
$25 daily per diem provided for travel-based project assignments.
