Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Providers participate in rotating Saturday coverage from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM as needed based on patient demand and clinic scheduling.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Acupuncturist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Madison, NJ. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes high-volume musculoskeletal and sports medicine care within an integrated medical setting.
The Acupuncturist will work closely with physicians, sports medicine providers, pain specialists, chiropractors, and rehabilitation professionals to support injury recovery, pain reduction, mobility improvement, and performance optimization. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and is confident managing a consistent daily patient schedule.
Responsibilities
The Acupuncturist will conduct focused patient assessments and review relevant medical history in coordination with the care team. They will develop and implement acupuncture treatment plans tailored to musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain conditions, and sports-related complaints.
This role includes administering acupuncture treatments efficiently and precisely. The Acupuncturist will treat conditions such as back and neck pain, joint dysfunction, muscle tightness, tendon and ligament injuries, headaches, and post-rehabilitation recovery needs.
The Acupuncturist will educate patients on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and supportive lifestyle recommendations. They will maintain accurate and timely documentation within the practice’s electronic medical record system and adhere to all safety, hygiene, and clinical standards.
Collaboration is essential, and the Acupuncturist will work consistently with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, outcomes-driven care. The position requires strong time management and the ability to maintain efficiency and professionalism in a high-volume clinical environment while delivering a premium patient experience.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an active New Jersey acupuncture license in good standing and demonstrate a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and pain management principles.
Experience treating musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions is preferred, as is comfort working in a high-volume outpatient medical setting. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with both patients and providers.
CPR and BLS certification is required. A strong interest in sports medicine, injury recovery, and functional wellness is highly preferred.
