Responsibilities
1. Presales Technical Support & Solution Development
- Serve as the subject matter expert for marine and offshore business, providing technical support and integration solutions for FGS (Fire & Gas Detection Systems) and gas sampling systems, including associated packages.
- Analyze customer requirements, develop and optimize technical solutions to strengthen competitiveness during the bidding stage.
- Prepare, review, and finalize technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance, feasibility, and cost-effectiveness.
2. Customer Engagement & Technical Promotion
- Organize and lead technical seminars, presentations, and on-site meetings with shipyards, EPC contractors, and shipowners.
- Facilitate customer approval of technical solutions and build long-term technical credibility with key accounts.
- Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support continuous improvement of products and solutions.
3. End-to-End Project Management
- Act as project manager, taking ownership of projects from contract award through to final acceptance and handover.
- Develop project plans, coordinate internal and external resources (engineering, procurement, production, commissioning), and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, manage technical issues and change requests throughout the execution phase.
4. On-Site Support & Technical Services
- Guide/ Participate in site commissioning, system integration, and critical after-sales technical support as required.
- Lead on-site teams in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure successful project acceptance.
- Capture lessons learned with regular retrospectives and contribute to technical knowledge management and team capability development.
5. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and manage project teams (including internal members and external partners), clarifying roles and objectives to drive execution efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a professional and collaborative working environment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support technical standardization and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Familiar with marine/offshore domestic/international regulations and approvals, IMO,SOLAS,ABS,DNV/GL,LR…
- Minimum 5 years+ experience with FGS application and integration (Fire & Gas Detectors and Systems packages)with shipyard, EPCs and shipowners
- Good Project management skills
- Familiar with POS documents from shipyard and able to prepare ,answer and close technical clarification/agreement with shipyard and shipowner in English
- Capable of cost assessment, technical negotiation with success experience
- Good command in both English & Chinese
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft office
