Responsibilities:

• Lead all day-to-day fiber extrusion plant operations, overseeing production, maintenance, technical teams, and production leads to ensure safe and efficient output
• Drive profitable growth by aligning plant operations with overall business strategy and production goals
• Manage planning and scheduling for fiber production to meet internal operational demands and external customer requirements
• Serve as a hands-on leader and change agent to support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
• Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute operational strategies that support long-term business objectives
• Improve plant systems, workflows, and IT processes to enhance efficiency and visibility across operations
• Develop and track key plant metrics tied to safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance
• Ensure fiber operations work in synergy with broader site and company objectives
• Build, mentor, and develop plant leadership and technical teams to support performance and accountability
• Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and compliance in all areas of plant operations
• Support cross-functional collaboration to resolve production issues and improve operational performance

Required Experience:

• Bachelors degree required; Chemical Engineering or related technical degree preferred
• Strong leadership experience in a manufacturing or technical plant environment
• Hands-on experience managing plant operations, production planning, and team performance
• Fiber extrusion, plastics extrusion, or similar process manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Experience driving Lean / continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of plant safety, quality systems, and productivity metrics
• Experience with ERP / manufacturing systems such as JD Edwards preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Union manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment

Salary: $125K-$140K plus bonus
