Production Supervisor at Curbtender, Inc. – Cedar Falls, Iowa

Job Summary:

Curbtender is a manufacturer of refuse collection trucks. The Production Supervisor will help oversee and manage production employees in the Paint department, Mounting departiment, and our Plumbing department. The Production Supervisor will ensure team member compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with Plant Manager to establish goals and criteria to be used during production.
• Ensure the production team’s daily workflow and assignments are completed.
• Ensure team members are accurately logging time and claiming parts on work orders.
• Troubleshoot production issues that arise.
• Notify maintenance department of equipment problems.
• Train and manage production employees on their assigned duties.
• Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Coordinate with human resources to respond to employee concerns or complaints.
• Ensure paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related work experience required.
• Prefer someone with experience in either (1) commercial diesel truck chassis, (2) CNC machining centers, (3) paint/autobody experience, or (4) general factory management.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be on feet all day.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
