Care Specialist at VitaCare Living Proctor – Proctor, Minnesota

Our growing company is seeking friendly and empathetic healthcare professionals with a passion for helping others in a direct-care role as a certified nursing assistant. As the primary caregiver, you will assist patients with varied levels of mobility with getting dressed, going to the restroom, changing bedpans, eating daily meals, and other activities of daily living. You’ll also record patient vitals and note any changes in behavior, complaints, and symptoms to the registered nurse. $19 - $23 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care
• Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages
• Keep each room up to high standards of sanitization by changing bedpans and sheets and performing regular room cleaning

Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and nurses to ensure positive relationships are maintained
• Previous experience handling bedridden patients with age-related diseases such as Alzheimer's and Dementia preferred
