An Apothecary Pharmacist is responsible for assuring all prescriptions within the department are filled, verified, dispensed and delivered with utmost accuracy, as well as with care and concern for the patient’s wellbeing and satisfaction. The candidate must exhibit expertise, professionalism and willingness to provide information and solutions to patients and other members of the health care team to ensure effective medication use. Located within East Alabama Medical Center, the Apothecary Pharmacist practices in a unique work environment serving employees, outpatients, and discharging patients.
