Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Safely operates power equipment for grounds and custodial maintenance.
• Keep all equipment in good condition
• Keep all aspects of our 17 building locations, offices and equipment clean and all trash removed as needed.
• Keep all aisles free and clear of hazards.
• Properly train employee/consumers on equipment and safety practices as directed by the Supervisor/Lead Worker.
• Ensure safety protocol is followed and safety equipment is properly used.

Think you've got what it takes?

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Do you have a valid Michigan drivers license? It's required.
• Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Previous buffing and waxing experience highly desirable.
• Ability to travel to 17 locations in Mid Michigan as needed.
• This is a physical job requiring good mobility, and the ability to stand and walk, climb, bend, kneel, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Can you reach, bend or stoop?
• Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day?
• Are you eager to recognize, comprehend all instructions and warnings of the SDS labeling system?
• Are you pleasant, cheerful and professional?
