We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) with specialized skills in lymphedema management to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patient health and wellness through individualized care plans with the utilization Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy (MLD/CDT).

Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities:

· Comprehensive Assessments

· Administration of manual MLD/CTD techniques

· Extensive patient and caregiver education

· Clinical collaboration with oncologists, surgeons and nurse navigators

· Document skilled care and medical need on a comprehensive electronic medical records system

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written to ensure clear patient/caregiver collaboration to facilitate successful patient outcomes. Having empathy and compassion is essential as well.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment with resilience and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to assess risk and make decisions rapidly.
• Problem solving is essential as no two treatment plans are the same. Using problem solving skills the successful candidate will craft solutions specific to the nuances of the patients they serve.
