Job Title: Hygiene Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant specializing in hygiene to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our team in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience.

Please note this is a part-time position. The training period would preferably consist of Monday afternoons (1 pm-5 pm) and Tuesdays through Thursdays (7 am-5 pm). The training schedule may be adjusted as needed. Once training is completed, shifts will consist of Monday afternoons and full days on Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform dental hygiene cleanings & assist the Dentist in exams

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental office

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred

- Previous experience in a dental office or clinical setting is a plus

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

- Experience in using Eaglesoft is a plus, but not required
