About This Position
IFT Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY
- This role coordinates external patient transportation based on triage of emergency and non-emergency requests across all three hospitals (BMC, NARH, FVH).

JOB REQUIREMENTS
-
Experience:
- Two years field related clinical experience as an EMT required.
- Paramedic experience preferred.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Licensure & Certifications:
- CERTEM - Certified EMT Paramedic in MA required.
- National Registered EMT preferred.
- Paramedic preferred.
- BLS required.
- ACLS required.
- PALS preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Medical Terminology required.
- Knowledge of Insurance prior authorization required.
- General Office skills required.
- Strong independent management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High level of flexibility.
- Organizational skills.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills.
