Responsibilities

Weston & Sampson is seeking an engineering student for our Spring 2026 Co-Op/Intern program. You will be working within one discipline but will be introduced to a variety of areas: civil, environmental, water, and wastewater. This position will be located in Reading, MA with occasional field work around the state.

Qualifications
What you’ll do:

Students will be assisting the engineering staff with project related tasks but including:

• data calculations
• research analysis
• design of plans and specifications for projects such as stormwater drainage improvements and green infrastructure
• construction services including field work
• Climate Resiliency

What you will bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
• Students with 2 years of coursework completed are preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to effectively organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Introductory knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, and/or HydroCAD is preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Salary Range Per Hour: $22.00 - $26.00 Based on Education
