Location: Flexible. Boston or East-coast preferred, as regular visits to Boston HQ will be required.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary SVP Commercial Operations to lead and elevate our global commercial organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial functions, including sales, marketing, and customer support. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence. This role demands a hands-on strategic leader with a deep understanding of the life sciences industry, a proven track record in commercial leadership, and exceptional skills in team-building and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive global commercial strategy that aligns with Stellaromics' vision and growth objectives. Drive the company’s commercial direction and ensure alignment with overall business goals.

Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing commercial team across sales, marketing, and support. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Sales Management: Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies and processes to drive revenue growth. Establish sales targets, track performance, and optimize sales operations to achieve and exceed goals.

Marketing Oversight: Direct the creation and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and support product positioning. Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels.

Product Strategy: Drive collaboration between product management and development teams to inform product roadmaps and launches. Develop and implement pricing strategies and competitive positioning to maximize market penetration and profitability.

Customer Engagement: Enhance customer experience by ensuring exceptional support and service. Develop and execute strategies to build and maintain strong customer relationships and satisfaction.

Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Utilize insights to inform strategic decisions and adapt commercial approaches as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership and other departments to drive cross-functional alignment and support company-wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Global commercial lead, VP of Sales, VP of Marketing, or similar senior leadership role in the life sciences or related field.
  • Strong background in spatial biology, multi-omics, single-cell, NGS, or related technologies is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing global commercial strategies, leading high-performing teams, and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in start-ups, demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to scale.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex commercial environments.
  • Extensive experience with product management, product launches, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
