WORK HOURS: Full time or Part time - work hours vary. May work any time during which the store is open.

JOB SUMMARY: Receive and fill customer’s orders, weigh items, packages items, lists and totals prices, stocks shelves with new merchandise and performing other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to communicate pleasantly and efficiently with all customers, vendors and fellow employees, under all circumstance.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

1. At all times provide pleasant and efficient customer service.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of product and its uses.
3. Keep work table, display cases, slicers, sinks and utensils clean at all times.
4. Must complete assigned duties on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Unload boxes of freight in the storage area; place containers and package materials on a four or six-wheeled cart and push cart to the designated area to restock packaging supplies.
2. At times will slice bread using a bread slicer; package bread by placing in a plastic bag and twist tie.
3. Place scones, muffins, cookies, and other baked goods into the display cases.
4. Package baked goods by placing items in containers, place on the scale and weigh items, operate label machine and place labels on the containers.
5. Answer phones and address customer's inquiries. Take orders from customers in person and via telephone by writing down the order.
6. Rotate product on shelves ensuring the oldest date is in the front.
7. Wash kitchen utensils; load pans into the dishwasher; stack pans off racks.
8. Operate effectively as part of a team.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be 18 years of age. Must possess or be able to obtain a food worker permit (health card) if required by the state.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to lift, carry and push up to 25 pounds.

Telephone, iPad, four and six-wheeled cart, knives, pots/pans, trays, label machine, packaging products, squeegee, mop, broom, sanitizer, step stool, ladder, box cutter, calculator, produce ties, pallet jack, cardboard boxes, paperwork, shrink wrapper, cardboard baler and compactor.
