This high-impact role leads the voice of the CEO and senior leadership team across internal and external channels, shaping executive narratives and strategic messaging that align with business priorities. You will oversee speechwriting, executive presentations, talking points, and communications planning, translating complex strategy into clear, compelling stories. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will partner with HR, Corporate Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal, and business leaders to ensure consistent messaging while supporting high-visibility initiatives. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to drive executive presence, influence organizational culture, and deliver communications that resonate with employees, customers, investors, and partners globally. The role requires exceptional judgment, editorial rigor, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with discretion and confidence.
- Develop and maintain CEO and C-suite messaging frameworks, storylines, and executive narratives aligned to business strategy and culture
- Write, edit, and refine speeches, remarks, op-eds, executive emails, and employee-facing communications
- Plan and execute leadership communications cadence, including town halls, all-hands, video updates, and Q&A sessions
- Create executive presentations and data-driven storytelling materials for board, employee, customer, and partner audiences
- Prepare executives for media interactions, panels, and conferences with briefing documents, message maps, and rehearsals
- Draft time-sensitive communications for organizational changes, crises, or reputational matters, coordinating with Legal, HR, and Communications
- Advise senior leaders, ensuring all materials reflect authentic executive voice, clarity, and impact
Requirements:
- Proven experience in executive communications, corporate communications, journalism, or speechwriting, supporting CEO or C-suite leaders in complex organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
- Strong executive presence, stakeholder management, and discretion
- Experience in change and issues communications, navigating sensitive topics with empathy and alignment to values
- Operational excellence, including planning, version control, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365; writing samples required
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, with strong judgment and confidentiality

- Competitive salary range: $165,000 – $244,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications
