About This Position

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Controls Specialist I to join our team. As a Project Controls Specialist I, you will be responsible for providing support to project managers in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of projects. You will work closely with project teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. Your attention to detail and ability to analyze data will be critical in this role. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different industries, providing you with a diverse and challenging work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in project controls or related field
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Experience in project controls for large-scale construction projects
  • Certification in project management such as PMP or CAPM
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience with risk management and analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or delays
  • Analyze project data and provide reports to project managers
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure project success

Skills:

As a Project Controls Specialist I, you will use your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and maintain project schedules, monitor project progress, and identify potential issues or delays. You will also use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams and ensure project success. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is required for this role. Additionally, experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and risk management and analysis is preferred.
