Technologist Trainee at Beacon Health System – Kalamazoo, Michigan

Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Performs tests and analyses in an entry level capacity according to established testing procedures in designated technical department. Gains knowledge of department procedures and operations.

Skill Requirements
Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
Machine: Personal computer.

Education and Experience

• Must be currently enrolled and in the final year of a Bachelor degree program in biology, chemistry, laboratory science or related field.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.
• Qualifies as testing personnel for moderate complexity testing as defined in CFR.493.1423.
