Skills Coach & Tutor – Digital Apprenticeships
Up to £45,000.00 per annum, dependent on experience.
Permanent - Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30, remote-based with ad-hoc travel as required.

As a Digital Specialist, are you tired of the status quo of linear delivery, with the ability and passion to drive an inspiring, future-focused and exciting provision?
This role will take a lead across a varied programme of delivery in line with the required apprenticeship standards and offer an integrated programme of teaching, training, support, mentoring and development of learners. This role is situated within a growth area of provision for eTraining and will shape the structure of delivery for future personnel to join the team and flourish as we grow.
The role will focus upon shaping the curriculum in a growing area of provision for eTraining, with a blend of both Teaching and coaching learners within their workplace to achieve competency and attain their chosen qualification.

Key Responsibilities
- Working with senior leaders and key stakeholders to refresh innovative delivery plans and learning strategies for the Digital Portfolio of Apprenticeships.
- Engagement with employers and learners to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
- Meeting KPIs set for starts, progression, timely achievement, leavers and customer satisfaction in line with quality, compliance and financial targets.
- Deliver qualifications across a range of programmes where occupationally competent, in accordance with quality processes and in line with the eTraining continuous Improvement strategy.
- Maintain a caseload of learners delivering sector-specific programmes, including developing Maths, English & ICT skills alongside personal development, behaviours & attitudes.
- Ensure programmes meet the needs of employers and the sectors they service, ensuring a bespoke curriculum so that learners develop new skills, knowledge and behaviours which impact positively for the employer and its business outcomes.
- Be proficient in the use of electronic portfolio systems to record learner interventions, reviews, upload work, and all required off-the-job training, maintaining learner information, ensuring quality and integrity of data, which is accurately recorded and submitted efficiently.
- Participate in all ongoing self-assessment activity, continually identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes. This role is heavily focused on practitioners' abilities to keep currency of knowledge up to date due to the subject matter, tools and skills involved.
- Maintain own CPD and occupational competence by participating in staff training, back to the floor days and extension training programmes.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of Apprenticeship delivery sourcing and sharing starts, supporting progressions between levels and being accountable for the ongoing development of sector areas, contributing to organisational and team KPIs, whilst meeting individual role KPIs.
- Understand and adhere to all responsibilities to ensure that the quality requirements of eTraining ’s Quality Assurance Framework, the prime contractor, funding body, OFSTED, DWP Quality Framework, or any other contract stakeholder, are maintained.
- Experience and knowledge of delivering Apprenticeship standards within the Digital Space at L3 and L4.
- Experience and knowledge of teaching and delivery of coaching activities in line with apprenticeship provision.
- Occupational experience within the industry of subject matter – Professional Services.
- Recognised Teaching Qualification at an appropriate Level
- Assessor qualification (CAVA/TAQA/A1) (Desirable)
