This role is ideal for an experienced Salesforce professional who enjoys building scalable, high-performance backend solutions. You will focus on developing and maintaining the core logic of custom CPQ systems, collaborating closely with architects, analysts, and front-end developers to deliver seamless solutions. The position offers the opportunity to work in a fully remote, collaborative environment while mentoring junior developers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates will leverage deep expertise in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce integrations to optimize system performance and ensure robust, maintainable solutions. This role provides exposure to advanced Salesforce functionality, including CPQ, APIs, and Lightning Web Components, while playing a critical part in driving impactful business outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement backend logic for custom CPQ solutions using Apex.

  • Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code aligned with Salesforce best practices and coding standards.

  • Develop and maintain complex triggers, batch jobs, future methods, and queueable Apex classes.

  • Optimize SOQL and SOSL queries for high performance and data efficiency.

  • Build and maintain Salesforce integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, external services, and middleware.

  • Collaborate with architects, administrators, and front-end developers to ensure seamless, high-quality technical solutions.

  • Troubleshoot performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and data inconsistencies, ensuring system reliability.

  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to maintain optimal system design.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong expertise in Apex and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ is preferred.

  • Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, governor limits, and security model.

  • Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, and database performance optimization.

  • Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming) and integrations.

  • Familiarity with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and front-end development is a plus.

  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and Git workflows.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in remote and Agile environments.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) Certification required; additional certifications such as PD2 or CPQ Specialist are a plus.
