Job Summary: SafeTouch is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Commercial Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at our new headquarters building. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar commercial environment and possess a strong work ethic.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform general janitorial duties, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
- Maintain entryways and high-visibility areas in a neat and orderly condition.
- Sanitize kitchens and breakrooms, including countertops, sinks, tables, and appliances.
- Disinfect and service restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Restock restroom and breakroom supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow company and industry safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
- Report any maintenance or supply needs to management.
- Follow safety procedures and keep the job site clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Perform additional duties as required to support evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior commercial or office cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Professional, reliable, and punctual, with clear communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, with an insurable driving record and proof of automobile liability and property damage coverage.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods, including safely ascending and descending stairs or ladders.
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other tools or equipment required to perform assigned duties.
- Safely use hand tools, power equipment, and technology, requiring adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity.
- Observe details, read electronic or printed documents, and communicate information clearly in person, by phone, in writing, or electronically.
- Drive to and from work and as business needs require.
- While following safety guidelines, handle cleaning chemicals and odors. May be exposed to loud noise.
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt
Work/Base Location: Jacksonville Corporate Headquarters
Core Work Hours/Availability: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $16.25 – 18/hour
