What You’ll DoStrategic Customer Engagement- Build strong relationships with industrial facilities and power generation clients
- Consult with customers to understand operational challenges and long-term goals
- Influence decision makers by presenting innovative solutions that improve reliability, efficiency, and performance
- Partner with engineering and product teams to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs
- Help shape system configurations and product applications that align with project requirements
- Guide projects from concept through implementation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across power generation and industrial power markets
- Develop proposals, technical presentations, and solution strategies that demonstrate value and performance
- Contribute to sales strategies that support medium-term growth and long-term partnerships
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer needs
- Represent the company at industry events and customer facilities
- Position MSHS Pacific Power Group as a trusted advisor and solutions partner
- Provide ongoing technical insight and training to ensure customers get the most from their systems

- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or engineering roles within power generation, industrial power markets, or marine.
- Strong technical knowledge of power generation systems, including diesel and gas generators, transfer switches, paralleling switchgear, and applicable electrical and power generation code requirements
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project documentation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable presenting to groups, delivering technical presentations, and speaking at professional or industry events
- Proven ability to influence customers, develop sales strategies, and secure business opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to customer sites, industrial facilities, and industry events
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Commercial awareness, including familiarity with contract terms, risk allocation, and project commercial structures
- Familiarity with mtu power generation products and systems
- Existing relationships with consulting engineers, electrical contractors, and industry partners within our area of responsibility (AOR)
- Experience working within marine, industrial, or mission-critical power environments
- Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 per year (based on experience)
- Incentive: Annual performance bonus
