About This Position
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Mechanic to support the performance, maintenance, and reliability of our production equipment. This hands-on role is critical to minimizing downtime, improving machine performance, and supporting a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing on production machinery
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical breakdowns quickly and effectively
Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery and components
Identify worn or damaged parts and coordinate replacement or repair
Document maintenance activities and repair work accurately
Collaborate with production planning to schedule maintenance activities
Support equipment modifications, test runs, and new product introductions
Maintain shop organization, tools, parts, and supplies
Operate production machinery as needed
Assist with training on production equipment operation
Work closely with other maintenance and technical team members to improve equipment reliability

Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Qualifications
1–2 years of relevant mechanical or maintenance experience
Vocational or community college coursework in a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and work around machinery
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to push or pull equipment (75–100 lbs., equipment-assisted)
Ability to visually inspect machinery and components
