JOB SUMMARY

The Licensed Electrical & HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and HVAC systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This role includes working with water-chilled systems, clean room environments, performing preventative maintenance, and responding to on-call service needs. The technician will also assist with general facility upkeep and repairs as needed.

Requirements:

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical and HVAC systems
• Operate and service water-chilled systems and related equipment
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Maintain and support clean room systems and standards
• Respond to on-call emergencies and urgent repair requests
• Ensure all systems operate in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Assist with general maintenance and handyman tasks (plumbing, minor repairs, etc.)
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when necessary
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC equipment
• Experience working in clean room environments
• Familiarity with chilled water systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to strict cleanliness protocols
• Ability to work independently and manage on-call responsibilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Valid Electrical and HVAC licenses required
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical and HVAC maintenance
• Required: Experience working in clean room environments
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school preferred
• Experience with chilled water systems required
