About This Position

Food Service Worker - Dallas County Jail

CONSOLIDATED MANAGEMENT
DALLAS COUNTY JAIL FOOD SERVICE HIRING
PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME
$18.00 PER HOUR TO START
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
  • No early morning or late nights (shifts are usually 7:30am-5:30pm) & hour break for lunch
  • A fun relaxed & no stress work environment (you have to stay busy though)
  • You'll never work with any inmates, we're in a separate are of the jail
  • Extra pay for holidays
  • Flexible schedule if requested in advance
  • Much more that we can discuss in the interview
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • Must pass a background check from the jail
  • Prepare & serve up to 75 easy to make quality meals
  • Must have weekend availability (usually every other)
  • Must be flexible with schedule when needed
  • Must have great attendance & be on time
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be able to take a lot of steps in a day, stay busy, & keep things clean
  • Must understand the importance of food safety & cleanliness
  • Must be able to do what it takes during the tough times

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
