Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support financial reporting processes. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with audits and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, intercompany, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Prepare tax filings and support tax compliance requirements
• Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
