VALET at Inter Pacific Motors Inc – Hilo, Hawaii

Role Summary:

The Valet is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by ensuring that every guest’s visit to Orchid Isle Ford begins and ends with a positive experience. This position supports the Service Department by greeting customers, moving vehicles safely and efficiently, and maintaining an organized and professional dealership environment.

The ideal candidate is courteous, attentive, and dependable with a strong sense of responsibility for vehicle care and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly upon arrival and assist them with vehicle drop-off and pick-up.
• Safely move customer and dealership vehicles to designated areas, including service bays, parking lots, and delivery zones.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, customer parking area, and loaner vehicle lot.
• Assist with loaner or shuttle vehicle coordination as directed by the Service Manager.
• Inspect vehicles for damage before and after service appointments and document any findings.
• Retrieve and stage vehicles for customers at the time of delivery.
• Support the Service Advisors and Technicians with vehicle flow and logistics to ensure efficient shop operations.
• Maintain fuel levels and cleanliness of dealership vehicles as required.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering assistance, and ensuring guests feel valued and informed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Hawaii driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Professional appearance and demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Previous experience in a dealership, hospitality, or customer-facing role preferred.
