Position Overview:
The Health Information Management (HIM) Electronic Health Record (EMR) Data Integrity Analyst provides oversight and supervision of all electronic processes related to the EMR system, (including the HIM systems) record processing functions, and electronic master patient index. This position will assign, review and correct data integrity within the facility. Responsible for review of patient charts for accuracy and completeness of the record. Works closely with medical staff to correct outstanding deficiencies. Trains medical staff on appropriate use of the EMR system.
Position Highlights:
- Starting Rate: $15.21 + per hour (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities:
• Reviews medical charts within the areas of the hospital; examples but not limited to surgery, labor and delivery, inpatient; and works along with physicians to ensure accurate documentation and correct data integrity within the facility.
• Communicates with other HIM staff and outside departments as needed to ensure accurate documentation in the EMR
• Apprises management of trends within the EMR that need to be corrected or addressed to support an accurate record
• Serves as a back-up for EMR Specialist, ROI and completing birth certificates as needed
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
High school graduate with some college-level training in medical terminology.
Associate degree in Health Information Technology preferred. Three years of HIM experience preferred.
