Salary Range: $21.00 - $29.40
Salary ranges listed above represent a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on several factors including but not limited to, the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Position Summary:
The Residential Team Member plays an essential role in supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic violence by providing trauma-informed direct services within the Safe House program. This role supports daily operations, client engagement, and the overall maintenance of a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include assisting with client intake and orientation, maintaining accurate documentation, responding to client needs in collaboration with internal teams, and facilitating skill-building workshops that promote client independence and well-being. In addition to client-focused duties, the Team Member helps manage facility upkeep and safety, including room preparation and inventory oversight. They coordinate with emergency services and community partners to ensure smooth service delivery and resource access for clients. Working collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders, the Residential Team Member embodies the agency’s commitment to confidentiality, inclusion, and resilience. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities include the following:
· Provide confidential direct services and assist with all basic Safe House activities, provide daily supportive interactions, and maintain a healthy, safe, and clean environment for all safe house clients.
· Work closely with Crisis Response team for all new clients entering the safe house.
· Accurately complete all required organization data entry and documentation in organization software when onboarding new clients, including client intake and orientation processes, drug screenings, and the creation and maintenance of client files.
· Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with Case Management and other internal departments, and promptly relay client needs or concerns to the appropriate staff.
· Assist with daily activities, clearing and cleaning rooms, room preparation, special events, donation organization, and meal preparation and distribution.
· Organize and facilitate workshops/groups in Safe House to support independent living skills development and self-sufficiency goals.
· Transport clients to community activities or appointments and other client pickup/delivery tasks as assigned.
· Monitors facility cameras and responds to access gates, ensuring client safety.
· Assist with facility upkeep and safety by completing timely and consistent rounds of house. Complete work orders for repairs as needed or directed.
· Maintain and manage Safe House inventory of essential supplies, household items, and client clothing closet; ensure stock levels meet program needs, and organize and track donations.
· Adhere to security protocol and procedures if an emergency arises. Promptly de-escalate any potential or actual conflict with clients. Complete incident reports as required. Communicate and notify the appropriate Manager/Director per policy.
· Collaborates and maintains positive community relations with law enforcement and other community organizations to provide community resources for clients and submit referrals for client support based on needs.
· Stay current on best practices in safety planning, community resources, technology, domestic violence dynamics, and domestic violence education. Participate in relevant training and professional development.
· Per agency and granting requirements, prepares and maintains clear and accurate client’s records and documentation, update client files as needed, and ensures documentation of services on agency database.
· Understanding of contract and grant compliance as it pertains to the program. Provide reports to community partners as required.
· Maintain accurate program documentation and collect data in organizations' software for attendance, safety, surveys, etc, to evaluate impact. Regularly assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
· Partner with all other departments and programs to ensure coordination of resources for clients as well as the ability to provide program support for other departments as needed.
· Works collaboratively with colleagues throughout the organization in order to model and support effective cross-departmental partnerships, trauma-informed practices, resiliency-building, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
· Adheres to all organizations' and programs' policies and procedures.
· Performs duties that are required of a Mandated Reporter of Suspected Child Abuse.
· Communicates regularly and provides written program updates to the manager about program activities, outcomes, and community engagement.
· Attend department and agency-wide meetings as required.

Requirements:Required Education and Experience:
· Associate’s degree required; some coursework in social work, human services or victimology, preferred.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations and Tests:
· Possession of a valid California driver's license and proof of liability insurance on personal auto.
· Must be insurable at all times at standard rate by MMC insurance carrier.
· Must successfully pass a drug, background and Tuberculosis test.

· Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and terminology. Demonstrated ability to use current business software applications.

· An understanding of data analysis and performance metrics.?
· Ability to prepare timely, proper, clear, and concise comprehensive reports, summaries, presentations, correspondence, and other documentation.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely both verbally and in writing in English. Bilingual in Hmong, Spanish, or Punjabi is a plus.
· Ability to remain calm and supportive in psychological emergencies and/or crises when provided with appropriate supervision and direction.
· Ability to receive and utilize constructive feedback regarding performance, presentation and relationships with others.
· An enhanced level of self-awareness as to how he or she relates to clients.
