This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and elevate both internal and external communications across a dynamic, creative organization. You will lead strategic storytelling initiatives, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with employees, creators, and external partners. As a high-visibility partner to leadership and cross-functional teams, you will manage internal updates, GTM campaigns, and executive messaging while building processes and systems that ensure consistent, effective communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings fresh ideas, and can operate autonomously while collaborating closely with multiple teams. This position allows you to influence company culture, brand presence, and the way stories are told to both internal and external audiences.
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans to align internal teams and elevate brand messaging.
- Anticipate organizational updates, risks, and opportunities, creating timely and effective messaging.
- Manage internal communications, including company-wide emails, Slack posts, Town Halls, FAQs, and executive updates.
- Build and maintain predictable communication systems, including calendars, templates, workflows, and feedback loops.
- Lead external communications efforts, including GTM campaigns, press releases, product narratives, and media relations.
- Craft compelling presentations and materials for leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Track and analyze engagement with communications, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in communications, corporate storytelling, or related roles with demonstrated success in high-visibility environments.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats and audiences, including executives, employees, and external partners.
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling messaging.
- Experience managing internal communications, GTM campaigns, and external messaging in tech, creative, or media environments.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Docs, Google Slides, and Slack for content creation and delivery.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to anticipating communication needs and identifying opportunities for impact.
- Deep understanding of creative communities, digital products, or music/creator culture is highly desirable.
- Competitive salary with annual reviews and equity opportunities; national pay range: $108,478 - $135,587.
