Ascension Recovery Services (ARS), the nation’s first Substance Use Disorder Management Services Organization (SUD-MSO), has partnered with LifeSpring Recovery of Andover LLC to launch an 80-bed detox and residential substance use disorder (SUD) treatment center serving the greater Wichita region.
Projected to open May 2026, LifeSpring Recovery of Andover will address critical behavioral health access gaps across Kansas—bringing structured, evidence-based treatment, strong clinical leadership, and operational rigor to the region.

Provide clinical leadership for all therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family treatment.
Ensure treatment programming aligns with ASAM criteria, evidence-based practices, and trauma-informed care principles.
Serve as a clinical resource to staff, providing guidance during complex cases and clinical crises.
Provide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and license-eligible clinicians.
Observe group and individual sessions and deliver structured feedback to support clinical excellence.
Facilitate interdisciplinary case reviews and clinical team meetings.
Oversee clinical admission processes and appropriateness of level of care.
Ensure individualized treatment planning that reflects clinical assessment, medical collaboration, and patient goals.
Collaborate with Admissions, Medical, and Case Management teams to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards, including Joint Commission, Medicaid, and ASAM.
Ensure timely completion of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
Conduct regular chart audits and support quality assurance, utilization review, and readiness activities.
Lead onboarding, orientation, and ongoing development of clinical staff.
Provide coaching, corrective feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
Support licensure supervision requirements and professional growth pathways.
Partner with the Executive Director and leadership team on program strategy, staffing models, and clinical outcomes.
Participate in pre-opening planning, licensure preparation, and go-live readiness.
Represent clinical services in leadership meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Addictions, or related human services field required.
Active Kansas clinical license required: LCAC, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment.
Prior supervisory or clinical leadership experience strongly preferred.
Strong working knowledge of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed approaches.
Familiarity with Joint Commission standards, Medicaid requirements, and clinical documentation standards.
CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Work ConditionsFull-time, on-site leadership role at the Muncie, Indiana facility.
Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with flexibility based on program needs.
Participation in on-call or clinical escalation support as required.
