Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead engineering execution, people development, and technical strategy across multiple teams while ensuring strong alignment with global priorities and enterprise integration needs.

Lead, mentor, and develop multiple engineering teams, including senior ICs and tech leads, while building a strong pipeline of future leaders and managers
Own end-to-end team performance including delivery predictability, reliability, quality, incident response, and engineering engagement
Define and drive technical strategy for critical integration systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability
Guide architectural decisions and participate in design reviews, ensuring consistency across distributed systems and APIs
Partner closely with Product, Design, Sales, Support, and Customer Success to align technical execution with business and customer needs
Drive AI-first engineering practices by embedding AI tools into development workflows, system design, testing, and operational processes
Act as the senior engineering leader in India, shaping hiring strategy, culture, onboarding, and organizational development
Oversee operational excellence, including incident escalation, system reliability, and continuous improvement of engineering processes

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with strong technical depth, proven people leadership skills, and the ability to operate in complex, distributed environments.

7+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years in engineering management, including multi-team or manager-of-managers scope
Strong background in leading high-performing engineering teams in complex, distributed systems or integration-heavy environments
Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain senior and staff-level engineers while scaling teams effectively
Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, APIs, authentication, and system design principles
Hands-on experience contributing to architecture discussions, design reviews, and occasionally production code
Demonstrated success in driving engineering performance using metrics such as delivery speed, quality, reliability, and engagement
Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional partners including Product, Design, and GTM teams
Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to align technical and business stakeholders
Deep familiarity with AI-driven engineering workflows and modern developer productivity tools
Customer-centric mindset with experience improving product reliability and user-facing integration systems
