Our Portland location is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate with evening and closing availability who will promote sales by positively and proactively engaging with customers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and is available to support the business during peak evening hours and store closing operations.

As a trusted advisor, you will apply your product knowledge to enhance the customer experience and ensure every customer leaves feeling confident and supported.

Responsibilities:

• Influence customer buying decisions by educating customers on products, offers, and promotions
• Maintain a customer-first selling environment
• Support evening operations, including store closing procedures and end-of-day responsibilities
• Perform arcade cleaning in accordance with company standards, including proper use of PPE and sanitation protocols
• Complete all closing duties, including cash handling, securing the store, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next business day
• Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible
• Adhere to all retail policies and procedures
• Perform daily department maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, and merchandise transfers
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to work a flexible schedule; nights and weekend availability preferred.
• Sincere desire to work with a diverse customer, selling novelties and apparel.
• Ability to communicate with customers and employees.
• Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals.
• Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate.
• Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be eligible to work in the US.
