Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair production machinery and facility equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform emergency repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics accurately.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed for maintenance tasks.
• Carry out basic machine duties and general mechanical work.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Follow equipment manuals and work orders to complete maintenance and service tasks.
• Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and make necessary adjustments to restore functionality.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs for machines, equipment, and facilities.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment effectively.
• Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report issues promptly to supervisors.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• Associates degree in mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience; strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with a background in production maintenance
• Basic computer skills
• Strong math skills
• Dedicated and takes pride in providing a high level of detail towards equipment maintenance, projects, general housekeeping and maintaining all shop areas in a neat and organized fashion
• Manufacturing, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills required
• Knowledge of equipment used in the plastic extrusion industry is preferred but not required.
