- Lead product design and development for furniture lines.
- Conduct product research, concepting, and line development.
- Translate guest insights into innovative design solutions.
- Create compelling design concepts through 3D modeling and rendering.
- Develop designs considering ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
- Collaborate with sourcing and technical design teams throughout development.
- Mentor junior designers and promote a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Four-year degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional design experience in furniture or related fields.
- Advanced skills in 3D modeling tools (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks).
- Strong rapid sketching and visualization capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Ability to apply market research and trend insights effectively.
