We are currently looking for a Market Development Executive (MDE) in United States.This role is a strategic, senior-level position focused on shaping demand and building advocacy within the U.S. Navy enterprise. The Market Development Executive will influence capability development, early requirements, and operational concepts while ensuring networking technologies are integrated into future naval programs. Acting upstream of traditional sales, this role drives engagement with senior stakeholders, supports experimentation and prototyping efforts, and positions solutions as mission-critical for maritime and tactical communications. The MDE will collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate strategy, provide market insights, and guide long-term opportunities. This is a high-impact, remote-eligible role with significant responsibility for shaping the Navys modernization initiatives and establishing long-lasting influence across defense programs.Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the senior representative to the U.S. Navy, shaping demand across NAVWAR, PEO C4I, OPNAV staffs, Fleet Forces Command, Warfare Centers, and operational Fleet elements.
  • Influence Navy capability development aligned with operational and modernization priorities.
  • Position networking technologies as essential enablers for resilient afloat, ship-to-ship, ship-to-shore, and distributed maritime networking.
  • Engage early in experimentation, prototyping, and concept development to align solutions with Navy priorities.
  • Cultivate advocacy among senior Navy leaders, requirements officers, and program managers.
  • Coordinate a team-based pursuit model with internal stakeholders to deliver unified messaging and strategy for priority programs.
  • Provide continuous market intelligence and insights on trends, modernization efforts, and acquisition pathways.
  • Represent the organization at Navy, DoD, and industry forums to build institutional advocacy and thought leadership.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic relationship management, account management, or government relations within the defense sector.
  • Senior-level U.S. Navy or Navy-supporting experience in modernization, C5ISR, tactical communications, or spectrum/EW applications.
  • Established network of contacts at senior levels within the U.S. Navy (NAVWAR, OPNAV, PEO C4I, Fleet commands, etc.).
  • Exceptional executive-level communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic planning, critical thinking, and ability to operate autonomously as a trusted advisor.
  • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract requirements.
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree, prior U.S. Navy service or equivalent senior civilian/industry leadership experience, experience with shipboard, airborne, or ship-to-shore communications, and familiarity with maritime RF propagation and contested spectrum operations.
Benefits:
