This strategic leadership role drives commercial planning and operational alignment across rare disease and cardio-metabolic portfolios on a global scale. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to shape commercial strategies, evaluate market trends, and guide high-impact decisions. You will oversee international distributor relationships, contribute to product launch planning, and ensure operational efficiency across multiple brands and markets. This role blends analytical rigor with strategic influence, offering opportunities to shape innovative approaches and deliver measurable impact. - Lead global commercial planning initiatives and integrate cross-brand strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Translate corporate goals into actionable annual operational plans for international markets.
- Oversee distributor relationships, ensuring product delivery and adherence to service standards worldwide.
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D, and regulatory teams to align commercial objectives with organizational goals.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives and enhance executive visibility for business unit leadership.
- Conduct strategic projects, including indication assessments, pipeline recommendations, and market trend analysis.
- Evaluate brand performance metrics and industry data to inform decision-making and support portfolio growth.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive industry or relevant professional experience, including 4–6 years in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical markets.
- Expertise in rare diseases, commercial operations, business development, brand marketing, or consulting.
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA) and experience with franchise or brand-level marketing strongly preferred.
- Proven track record in product launch strategy, lifecycle management, and cross-functional project execution.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills with the ability to influence business direction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities across global teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and readiness to travel internationally (10–15%).
